Thank you to all of our families who were able to connect with us during Parent and Teacher conferences. Communication is key to supporting your student's success this year and for years to come.

Our second Local School Council Meeting was on Thursday 10/24 at 9:00 am at Shiloh HS. It was a wonderful opportunity to see and hear about the amazing work and various opportunities our students have in Shiloh Cluster Schools.

We have some important events coming up. Here is some specific information about a couple of the events.

11/7: International Night! Calling all families who would like to participate in our International Night. The date of the event will be Thursday, November 7 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Volunteers for tables and vendors may set up at 5:00. Click HERE for information to sign up for a booth.

11/11: Veteran’s Day Recognition. Are you a veteran or know someone in your family who is a veteran? We would like to invite our Shiloh ES community veterans to join us for a special recognition at Shiloh ES. This will take place Monday 11/11 from 7:45 - 8:45 in the morning. We hope to recognize you on our news show, engage in a continental breakfast, and go on a Veterans Walk around our school. Email our Parent Outreach Liaison @ christine.goodman@gcpsk12.org if you are a veteran and would like to participate.

11/14: PTO Bingo Night. Come play with us! More info to come.

11/20 & 11/21: Thanksgiving Family Lunch. This year, we plan to extend each grade level’s lunch to 40 minutes to allow families to join their child(ren). This event is free to enter; however, if you plan to purchase a lunch, the cost is $4 per person. Please complete the Google Form link in the “Save the Date” section so that our cafeteria can plan accordingly.

Parents, if you haven't completed your beginning of the year forms and you need some assistance, please watch this video. As of November 1, we have about 224 students whose forms need to be completed. Only parents who still need to complete forms receive the reminders in Parent Square. If you received a reminder, please fill in those forms today.

General Information

School Hours 7:45-2:45 - Instruction starts at 8:15

Car Rider drop off ends at 8:10

Students arriving after 8:10, parent must bring student into the building to check in.

Dismissal begins at 2:45. Car Riders dismiss at side of the building from 2:45-3:10 PM.

After 3:10, you must come to the front lobby to pick up your child.

Bookbags

Please make sure your children come to school each day with a book bag that has their

transportation tag, this guarantees a safe and secure travel home. If tag is missing, please

contact the school.
