Parent/Teacher Conferences
We will be hosting our Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, October 16th! We will have two sessions:
Session 1 will be from 12 to 3 p.m. and is Virtual/Phone Call.
Session 2 will be from 4 to 7 p.m. and is In-Person in the HHS Gymnasium.
In addition to conferences this year, we are hosting our College and Career Fair. This will give families an opportunity to visit with representatives from over 40 careers and 30 colleges/universities. The fair will run from 6 to 8 p.m. in our Commons and the Main Street hallway. Before the fair begins, Mrs. Cheryl Price, HAS District Counseling Specialist, will host a “College 101” presentation at 5 p.m. in the HHS Auditorium.
All parent-teacher conference sessions (virtual or in-person) must be scheduled using the Holly High School SchoolSoft Conference Manager. Please go to https://holly.schoolsoft.com/ using your existing username and password, then make your appointments. For our Virtual Session, teachers will use our Google Meet Platform. Once you register and schedule a session, a virtual link will be mailed to your registered email address before the 16th.
This information (with more detail) is also from an email to parents on 10/4 from Mr. Curl

Blood Drive Success
National Honor Society kicked off their annual blood drive campaign for the school year on Tuesday, October 1st! All of the donors came geared up to give, providing Versiti Blood Centers of Michigan with 90 lifesaving units from our donations! We are so appreciative of all the donors who gave of themselves and their time, along with the Holly High School staff, who were some of our donors and also allowed flexibility for our students to donate during the school day. It was a touchdown for all!
College Week Spirit Days
Holly High School Honor Societies, including National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Rho Kappa, and Spanish National Honor Society, will be holding their annual fall induction ceremony on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 6pm, in the high school auditorium. Families and friends are welcome to share in the success and honor of the inductees. Light refreshments will be served directly following the event.
National Honor Society is partnering with FCCLA, Leadership, NTHS, Rho Kappa, and SNHS in a group serve at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Saturday, October 19th. Each fall and spring the Great Lakes National Cemetery Advisory Council organizes a cleaning event, to make sure the headstones of veterans and their family members who are laid to rest there are well taken care of. The event starts at 9:30am. The Advisory Council recommends you bring a 5 gallon bucket and a soft scrub brush, if you can. Please consider coming out and joining in such a great cause! You can contact the Great Lakes National Cemetery, greatlakesnationalcemeteryac@gmail.com, for more details.
