A Message from the Principal, Mrs. Finch
Happy New Year! We are excited to start 2025 and continue to grow our students academically and socially. Just a reminder to keep reading. Our Wildcat University Reading Program has been successful with 150 students participating and over 150,000 minutes read. It is not too late to have your students read just 20 minutes a day and start a New Year's Resolution. The link to log minutes can be found HERE. Just like playing an instrument, sports, or learning to knit, we need to practice. Students need to practice reading. Please let us know if you need more books at home that your students can read.
A Shout Out to our PTO for providing lunch for our staff on Dec.18 from Bird Dog. It was greatly appreciated and delicious. We also want to thank Mrs. Davis for spending the semester with us as our long term substitute school counselor. We appreciate all of her work and she will be missed by the students and staff.
Widefield School District 3 (WSD3) has created a new webpage, Annual Notices, that contains important information we provide at the beginning of each school year. We value the roles of parents and guardians as partners in their students’ education and seek to have this information readily available and easily accessible for our community.
You can find the Annual Notices webpage on our school websites and the District website located under About Us.
Counselor's Corner
I’m back! I am so thankful for the time home I had with my son. He is a very happy and healthy boy. While I was gone, I kept in touch with Mrs. Davis as much as possible so I could have a smooth transition back to Webster. I am looking forward to working with your children again! I will continue classroom SEL lessons as I did in previous years. The classroom lesson topic for all grade levels in January will be Motivation/Perseverance. Career Week:
