Early Release Day
Wednesday, November 13th, is our next Early Release day of the year. Expect your students who ride the bus home approximately two hours early. The student day ends at 1:28, and we will begin the dismissal process at 1:15.
Please remember that we have one Early Release day each month except December and June. Early Release days operate on a schedule different from half-days. Students leave two hours earlier than a regular day and still have lunch at school.

Dressing Warm for Recess!
Please have your children bring warm outdoor winter gear to school every day to make sure they stay warm while they are outside for recess. Please write your child's name inside their winter gear. This helps prevent items from getting lost at school. Students spend approximately 20 min outside each day.
If your child needs winter gear, please reach out to Mrs. Demo.
PTO Pals
We have slots on Monday, December 2nd, for popping and bagging popcorn. There is no end time as the time slot will end when all bags are done.
The slots on Tuesday, December 3rd, are for our PTO Pals day. This is where students pick a free book, and participate in a making a craft. As a volunteer, you will assist students with their craft activity for all classes during your time slot.
Background checks must be on file with the school to participate. If you're not sure if you filled one out yet, contact the office at 8105910818.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!
Visitors at Central
All visitors at Central will be asked to ring the doorbell at the front entrance. A member from the office will greet you through the microphone; please state your name, your child's name, and what brings you in that day. Parents, guardians, and other family members will be allowed into Davison Community School buildings to:
· Drop off/pick up student medications
· Attend IEPs/504s or Parent-Teacher Conferences
· Or as an Approved Volunteer
Student Sign In
If you are dropping your child off late, please walk your child to the main entrance, ring the bell, and wait for an office staff member to let you in to sign your student in for the day.
Student Sign Out
If you pick your child up early, ring the bell outside, and a staff member will greet you. Your student will then be called to the office, and you will sign them out. Please be sure to present your picture ID for identification.
Holiday Shop!
We need all the help we can get to make this event a success! Wrapping and gift tagging gifts for every student means we need all hands on deck! Please consider even asking grandparents to come and help out. All volunteers are required to have an approved background check on file for volunteering. Any questions? Email us at DavisonCentralPTO@gmail.com or call the office, 8105910818.
The student shopping schedule has not been made yet, so we cannot guarantee that you will be helping when you're student is shopping. We hope to have a schedule soon and can share that when it becomes available.
Donations of wrapping items are needed. Click the Holiday Shop link for what donations are being asked for by our PTO. They ask that all items be sent in no later than Friday, December 6th.
DAVISON COMMUNITY SCHOOLS ANNUAL COOL TO CARE CAMPAIGN

Central students and staff LOVE to celebrate birthdays! Due to ongoing concerns regarding food allergies, medical conditions and dietary restrictions, Davison Community Schools no longer allows food treats, including cake and cupcakes, to be sent in.
