Five Good Things in Spring
April 6, 2025

Let’s hear it for Spring High School superstar Hannah Vuong, who just snagged a $48,000 four-year scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin! 🎉 Surrounded by cheers and proud smiles, Hannah was surprised with the life-changing news, along with some burnt orange swag and serious Longhorn spirit. As a Texas Impact Scholar, she’s heading to UT with tuition and fees covered—and a future as bright as that smile! Hook ’em, Hannah! 🤘
Wells Middle School and Link Elementary School showed all the love for National Autism Awareness Day, rocking their best blue and bringing the good vibes. Kindness? Check. Acceptance? Double check. Style? Don’t even get us started! 🤩 💙 Blue shirts, big smiles, and even bigger hearts filled the halls. If good vibes were a competition, they’d be walking home with trophies!
The Starlettes dominated Showtime Nationals and made it official—Grand National Champions for the second year in a row. With 1st place finishes in what felt like every category, Supreme Awards for top scores of the day, and Applause Awards for every routine, this squad delivered pure excellence from start to finish. The officer line crushed every performance, team routines hit with power and precision, and solo stars Kaylee Rogers and Jailyn Sydnor brought the heat. Banners raised, trophies stacked—the Starlettes are on top where they belong!
Spring ISD’s Robotics Showcase on Monday was all gas, no brakes! Students rolled out the bots, showed off their builds, and absolutely owned the room with their creativity and collaboration. The robot battles were epic, the presentations were sharp, and the energy was was off the charts! Even the audience watching could feel the robo-energy flowing. Major props to our students for proving once again that innovation lives right here in Spring ISD!⚙️
