Principal's Letter
Dear Lobo Families,
Welcome back everyone! I am so excited for everyone to return to campus and start the 2024-2025 school year. We have a lot planned for this year, we will start with the Teacher Meet and Greet, on July 31st from 1:00-3:00 pm. Families will be able to get their child's class schedule, laptop, id cards and a new backpack. This year we are implementing a new clear backpack policy. All students must use clear back packs.
School picture day is August 16th. Follow the link to purchase pictures. **************
The school district will continue to have Professional Learning Days for staff. The dates: August 21st, October 23rd, January 29th, and March 26th. Please remember students do not have school on those days.
Our first Food Pantry Day will be August 16th. Middle school students do need a permission slip in order to get a food box. Once all students get their food boxes, this is open to the public if you know of someone in need of a food box.
Please join us on August 29th for Open House from 5:00-6:30 pm. You will be able to visit your child's classroom and talk with the teacher.
Please continue to check our website, Facebook and parent link messages for any updates throughout the school year. If you have any questions or need further assistance, you can always all the front office at 908- 3900 or email the school.
Respectfully,
Ms. Stanbrook

Higher Ground
Higher Ground’s mission is to empower one life at a time to reach, transform, and elevate their community through love and character building. In other words, we work with students, families, and community members to provide any resource that is outside of the scope of education:
● Our student support specialist works closely with students on developing executive functions and decision-making skills to reach their individual goals.
● Our site director works with students, families, and community members to build community rapport and a pool of resources that empower the community.
We support schools and education professionals by filling in the gaps that families might need so that schools can focus on education. Partnering with local programs and organizations, we act as the bridge between families and any resource that can reach, transform, and elevate their lives according to their individual goals. Our Lawrence team is looking forward to working with you, your students, and your staff this year
