Grant Weekly Bulletin 12.02.2024

Dear Grant Gators,

Just a friendly reminder that we do not have school on Wednesday, November 27 through Friday, November 29, 2024. On behalf of the Grant Staff, we hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving and break with family and friends!

Bus AF will not be running when we return on Monday, December 2 through Friday, December 6. Please pick your child up at Door 2 (door next to LMC) as that is where they will continue to line up for the bus even though it's not running next week. So sorry for the inconvenience. This door is close to our front entrance at Grant Elementary. You may also drop them off in the morning at our front entrance to Grant Elementary.

Finally, GOOD LUCK to the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Unversity of Michigan Wolverines on Saturday at noon. I am hoping after 3 years of losing, OSU comes out on top. ;-) Go Bucks!!

This past Friday, November 22 you should have received some things for the Santa Shop.

• Please do not send in money until the day your student is shopping.
• Gift prices range from .25 cents to $14.75.
• If you decide to use a voucher, please send it in the envelope.
• If you send a check with your child, please make it payable to Grant PTA.
• To better prepare your child for the shopping experience, please take the time to fill out the envelope with your student.
• Reach out to the PTA if you have any questions.

Good morning,

We are excited to get the ball rolling on our Secret Santa Shop and are in need of volunteers! Shifts will be from 9:00-11:30am or 12:30-3:45pm the week of 12/2 and we are looking for 10 volunteers per shift. This job will entail assisting students shop and manage their spending money on a one to one basis. There will always be a PTA board member present too should you have any questions, issues, or concerns arise.

Thank you to all the families who donated to Livonia PTSA Council's Food Service and Custodian Appreciation Event! Goodie bags were delivered to over 200 hard working folks in the district! Ms. Amy, Ms. Kathy, Mr. Nate, Patrick, and Zen felt appreciated!

We have really worked on spreading KINDNESS at Grant Elementary over the past year. We'd like to continue to do our "Be Kind Wednesdays" by wearing anything that spreads kindness at Grant Elementary. This is optional too. Here is a few websites where you can find some cool gear.
