Today is a 2 Hour Early Release-There is No School Tomorrow
LMS Blue Jays!
I hope everyone is having a fantastic week! Today is a two-hour early release; dismissal will be at 12:50 p.m. It was great seeing all of our families at Parent/Teacher Conferences this week. Thank you to our PTSA and everyone who donated to our teacher meals.
We're excited that our PTSA Color Run takes place today! The first race will kick off around 11:15 a.m. 8th Grade will run first, then 7th grade, and we'll end with the 6th grade run. Community members are welcome to join us and watch the fun—just be sure to check in at the front office upon arrival.
As Halloween approaches, we’re thrilled to invite our students to celebrate this festive occasion by dressing up in creative costumes on Thursday, October 31! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their imagination and embrace the spirit of the season.
To ensure a fun and safe celebration, please follow these guidelines:
- No Face Paint: To keep communication clear and ensure safety, please avoid face paint.
- No Masks: While costumes are fun, masks can obstruct vision and create discomfort throughout the school day.
- No Toy Weapons: For safety reasons, please do not bring toy weapons or items resembling weapons.
- Inflatable Costumes: Inflatable costumes will need to be turned off while in the classroom.
- Dress Code Compliance: Make sure your costume follows the LPS dress code and is appropriate for school.
We appreciate your support in following these guidelines to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable Halloween celebration. We’re excited to see all the creative costumes and share in the festive fun!
