Mariachi Las Dahlias to Visit Summit Cove
We are delighted to host Breck Create and the all-female Mariachi Las Dahlias on October 16 at 1:45 as a way of celebrating the close of Hispanic Heritage Month. Families are invited to attend also. (Make sure to bring an ID in order to enter our building.)
Las Dahlias is a Colorado-based female music group that performs music from our Mexican and LatinX heritage. The group performs Mariachi repertoire, music from or inspired by Latin America and a few original works. Las Dahlias consists of four members with a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and music careers. The instrumentation of the group includes three violins, a vihuela, and a guitarron. The mission of Las Dahlias is to promote female representation and share music of Mexican influence throughout the state of Colorado.
This school tour is part of Breck Create's Hispanic Heritage Month and DÃa de Muertos celebration.
