Leader In Me
The Leadership Team comprised of both students and staff met with our Leader in Me representative. He engaged the team in learning more about the program and its future impact in our school. The rest of our staff will be trained at upcoming professional development sessions. The Leadership Team will meet again in an effort to brainstorm new and complimentary ways to incorporate LIM everyday at NPHS.

January is National Thank You Month! Did you know that expressing gratitude can help boost our own mood, improve our sleep, and even help our immune systems work better? With that in mind, this cold winter month would be the perfect time to focus our thoughts on people and things that we are thankful for in our lives.
Here are some idea to get started on celebrating National Thank You Month:
- Tell someone that you are thankful for them
- Create a thank you note for someone in your life
- Give someone a compliment
- Do something kind for someone
- Start a gratitude journal and write down three things that you are thankful for each day
- Create a gratitude art project by drawing, painting, or doing a collage of the things that you are grateful for in your life
- Practice self-gratitude by noticing the things about yourself that you like
Remember that the counseling team is here also to support everyone. We are always happy to talk through things and/ or to help you think of your own ways to express gratitude.
