CPE Spotlight
Solar Technology and Entrepreneurship Course Final Project
Participants of our 40-hour Introduction to Solar Technology and Entrepreneurship course were able to put their newfound skills to test for one final project. Ten participants were chosen to work with Baldwin County's Water Treatment Facility to install 38 solar panels at the treatment plant to increase sustainability. This project marked the conclusion for four cohorts of classes.
The course was dedicated to blending business and solar physics to help community members learn more about starting businesses in green energy. Through this course they are given the knowledge needed to help them become certified installers via the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
