Primary School
September 13, 2024
Homecoming Week is almost here! We are all excited to celebrate Homecoming next week at Chisago Lakes Primary School! It's a fun-filled week for everyone, with special dress-up days and activities that bring our school community together. You can find all the details about the dress-up days and game night further down in the newsletter. On Wednesday, the High School Cheerleading Team and the GridIron Club will be visiting Primary to sell beads, pom-poms, and buttons. Once we have the prices, I will share that information with you. The highlight of the week will be the Homecoming Parade on Friday, where our students will get to see the players, cheerleaders, and enjoy a pepfest as they parade around the school! We can't wait!
A quick note about bus loop parking: Families are welcome to park in the bus loop if they need to visit the office from 9:15 - 3:15 each day. If you will be parked between 11:30 and 12:00, please park on the right hand side - closest to the building. The left side is used for preschool mid-day pick up. Thanks for your help!
Have a great weekend,

Physical Safety
Next week, we will be discussing physical safety with our students as part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and supportive school environment. This will include age-appropriate lessons on staying safe in different situations, including pedestrian safety and our school's safety (including lockdown) procedures. Rest assured, all lockdown training is conducted in a careful, thoughtful, and age-appropriate manner to ensure students feel safe and supported. Our goal is to empower students with the knowledge they need, while being mindful of their age and emotional well-being.
