Escondido Renaissance Fair
Students study the Renaissance in 7th grade. Join us for this local opportunity that will bring the Renaissance to life for them. Wangenheim students and their families are being offered a special discount rate to attend this year’s Spring Renaissance Faire sponsored by the WMS PTSA; this is not a school sponsored field trip.
Nonrefundable specially priced tickets:
- $10.00 per Wangenheim student
- $10.00 per child between the ages of 5-11 (under 5, free)
- $15.00 per adult attending
Tickets must be purchased (cash only) for your entire party in advance from your history teacher. starting Monday, March 3rd, 2025. The last day to purchase tickets is Thursday, March 27th, 2025.

CORE Academy, Saturday, March 15
Wangenheim Middle School will hold Saturday sessions of CORE Academy: Supporting Student Achievement Success (CASSAS), a Saturday of education for students to receive additional support in their core classes as well as enrichment to make up absences and/or tardies. This supports our ongoing effort to help prepare students with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the ongoing demands of the 21st Century.

Principal's Coffee - March 25, 2025 (Tues)@ 8:30am
Each month, the Principal hosts an informal discussion meeting with parents and community members. This is an open meeting where the Principal shares information on topical issues. Parents and community members are invited to provide positive feedback and to express questions and concerns.
Handouts from these meetings will be posted on this page for parents and community members who could not attend.
The monthly hybrid meetings are held either Tuesday or Wednesday and begin at 8:30 am in person in the library and on Google Meet and run for approximately one hour. The same meeting information will be used for each meeting:

San Diego Unified School District uses multiple methods of sharing important information with families throughout the school year. Make sure you don’t miss any messages by keeping your contact information updated with your school and opting in to texting.
Once the school year begins, check the PowerSchool Parent Portal to ensure your current cell phone number is on file and then text the word “YES” to 67587 to opt in to receiving text messages from San Diego Unified.
