Happy New Year!

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! It is incredible how fast the time goes when you are having fun! I know many of you celebrated life transitions, and hopefully, you were able to spend much-needed time recharging for the year ahead. I am excited about the new year and its possibilities for our students and staff. I know that it is going to be a fantastic year at Sheldon! I consider myself lucky to work with each of you to serve our amazing students! Scroll through the newsletter to learn about the beginning of the year happenings and updates at school.

Many thanks go out to our custodial staff and others who worked behind the scenes this summer to prepare our building for the start of the new school year! Mike, TJ, Gwen, Jenni, and Vicki have worked so hard to have everything in excellent shape to start the year. If you haven't seen the mural in the JH hallway, I encourage you to take a peek. Syndi was kind enough to add a little pizzazz to the hallway for us this year.

I would also like to thank those teachers and paraprofessionals who committed their summer to work with our students in one capacity, whether Summer School or simply spending time preparing for the new year this summer. For many of our students, it was a fun-filled, successful summer of learning. Without your effort, nothing we do here would be possible!

From the bottom of our hearts, Jason and I thank each of you for Making it Happen for our Sheldon Panthers! Please take time to thank these people as you arrive back at school!
