Cambrian Staff Appreciation Week
Just a friendly reminder that our school district’s Staff Appreciation Week is scheduled for May 13-17th. As we approach it, I want to take a moment to highlight why this week holds such significance in our school district.
Our staff members are the heart and soul of our schools. They dedicate their time, energy, and passion to ensure that our children receive the best education possible. From teachers to custodians, administrators to our groundskeepers, each member of our staff plays a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our students to thrive.
Staff Appreciation Week is not just about saying thank you; it's about recognizing the incredible commitment and hard work of our staff members. It's an opportunity for us as parents to show our gratitude for their tireless efforts, day in and day out.
So, let's come together as a community to celebrate and honor our amazing staff during Staff Appreciation Week. Whether it's a simple thank you note, a small token of appreciation, or a kind word, let's show our staff members just how much they mean to us and how grateful we are for all that they do.
Thank you for your continued support,
KRISTI SCHWIEBERT

"Fentanyl High" delves beyond social media appearances to uncover the candid thoughts of high school teenagers regarding the fentanyl epidemic. It explores how today's teens are coping with emotional struggles both at school and at home, the reasons behind their self-medication practices, and measures that can be taken to prevent such tragedies as a result. The documentary also features firsthand accounts from paramedics, government officials, physicians, and parents who have lost their children to fentanyl poisoning.
For context, over 112,000 lives were tragically lost to fatal drug overdoses in 2023, marking a devastating turning point in U.S. history. Young individuals have been disproportionately impacted by this crisis, surpassing all previous drug epidemics. Fentanyl, is a synthetic opioid fifty times deadlier than heroin, and accounts for over 60% of these heartbreaking deaths, amidst a challenging landscape of increasingly complex and dangerous illegal drug distribution.
Recognizing the signs of an overdose can save a life.
