Did you miss Screenagers: Elementary Edition last week?
On October 24, families met in person at Marshall Community Center or online, for a screening of Screenagers, an edition focused on elementary school children.
The film explored the issues facing elementary students, their parents, and educators in relation to technology, such as the use of smart watches in class, the need to reduce and monitor time spent playing video games, the pressures of social networking and a balanced use of screen time. The screening was followed by a brief Q&A session with FCPS1 panelists.
Due to the copyright of this film, the video was not recorded. Please find the family handouts provided by the film. The family handouts provided by Screenagers are not endorsed by FCPS1 but serve as a resource for our FCPS1 families.
