MUSIC NOTES:
Aynor musicians are off to a wonderful start to the year! Blue Pan Jam and D.R.U.M. Band had some great musicality happening in their first practices of the year this week. In our Specials time, most of our classes we have been learning and enjoying musical games from other cultures to have a fun start to the year reviewing different musical concepts.
We will be starting our annual music fundraiser soon, with a new hugger to collect! Please keep an eye out for details. I was blown away last year with the amount of support our community showed to our music program, and this year I have some new instruments and equipment in mind to make our music room even better! Thank you!
Mark your calendars, we have our first performance of the year scheduled:
September 21st – Blue Pan Jam and D.R.U.M. Band at the Aynor Hoedown Harvest Festival
November 8th – 4th Grade, Veterans Day Program
November 21st – 2nd Grade, Thanksgiving Program
More information for these events will be available as the dates get closer.
Mrs. Lisa Christy
