My name is Daniel Canelos, but your kids know me as Mr. Danny. I was born in Quito Ecuador and I am a former Dearborn Dolphin. I have worked at Dearborn for 10 years and this school really is my second home and family. When I am not at work, I love watching sports, hiking, and trying out new restaurants and coffee shops. I am a big Lakers fan and enjoy playing basketball. Go Lakers!
Hello, my name is Joanna Clarke and this is my 3rd year as an Instructional Aide here at Dearborn. I am a CSUN graduate and previously worked in Human Resources before transitioning to working for McRory Pediatrics. I have been working with children in LAUSD for over 13 years and returned to the workforce after being a stay-at-home parent. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and volunteering my time to positively impact their growth and youth. I have been married to my best friend for 14 years and together we have two bright and beautiful daughters who attend Dearborn (TK and 4th Grade). In my spare time, I am a Girl Scout Troop Leader, photography enthusiast and enjoy attending live events. I love traveling and making the most of my day. I am always up for a new adventure with my family and friends-even at the price of exhaustion!
Hey everyone, my name is Miss Ashley and I have been working at Dearborn since February. Though I am a new aide, I am not new to campus. I went to this school from K-5 and truly enjoy being a part of our wonderful community again. Fun fact about me, I am a dog mom. I have a two year old shih tzu named Eevee and she is a fluffy ball of joy!! Thank you to all the students, parents, and staff for being so welcoming and hope everyone has a great summer :)
Hello, my names Megan Villalon. I've been working at Dearborn for a few years now but I've been a part of the Dearborn family since my mom, Mrs. Carmona, has been a teacher here since 2007. I have enjoyed working with kids since my first job at 15 years old, at the YMCA daycare. I am graduating from CSUN this May and I'm so excited to begin my new journey to finding a career. I enjoy all things spooky and Halloween related. My favorite thing to do is finding and going to events like Midsummer scream, Halloween Horror Nights and other obscure things to have fun at!
Hi my name is Ms. Becca and I've been at Dearborn for about 2 and a half years. Some things I like to do are baking. I like to make cupcakes and other different desserts. I also love cats and have 2. Their names are Luna and Kitty. Me and my boyfriend of 8 years love to try a new restaurant every Sunday and of course dessert after, especially Crumbl cookies! We love to eat! I am currently in school for business management and administration. I hope to open up my own little baking business one day.
My name is Ms. Isa. I have worked here at Dearborn as an instructional aide for the past six years. Although I have worked here for six years, my journey at Dearborn first began back when I was ten years old attending here as a fifth grader. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time outdoors, going on hikes, traveling to the beach, golfing, and playing pickleball. I am also a big sports fan. If you ever see me walking around Dearborn, I will have some sort of Rams merch on.
Hi, my name is Arianna Ribas, I am the TK aide in room 13. May will be my 5th month working here at Dearborn Elementary. I love working with the kinder team and the rest of the staff here. I also have enjoyed seeing the kids grow and learn so much in just the few months I have been here. Before Dearborn I was a nanny for different families ranging in various ages. I went to College of the Canyons for my AA transfer degree in elementary teacher education, and I am currently about to enter my senior year at CSUN where I’m studying to earn my bachelor's degree in liberal studies and planning on getting my teaching credentials as well. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher and my experience here has really fortified those goals. I am recently engaged and spend a lot of my free time with my fiancé planning for our wedding in October. We also enjoy watching movies, trying new places to eat, and playing video games together.
Hello, my name is Yvette and I have the absolute pleasure of working with the wonderful Mrs. Asatorian in Room 12! In 2017, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Child Development with a Minor in Family Studies from CSUN. I was two semesters away from completing my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education when I found out that I was expecting my second babygirl and decided to take a break in my education while I navigate my new role as a mother of two and recently, a fiancé! :) I have been working with children since 2014 and I can’t imagine doing anything else! Currently, I don’t have much “free time” these days but my newborn and my five year old give me so much joy to last a lifetime.
Hello, my name is Mr. Williams. Outside of Dearborn, I teach others as well as LAUSD students about Financial Literacy, Investing and Trading in The Stock Market for passive income. I'm finishing up a new book and workbook on Money and Stocks for kids.
