We have officially completed four weeks of school! What an amazing month of teaching, learning, setting expectations, and connecting with students and families.

Our Title I Family Newsletter is getting some upgrades. We will share the newsletter on the last Friday of every month. The goal is to provide timely information, updates, school celebrations, and family reminders. In addition, I hope to provide a video message of each newsletter in both English and Spanish. The video message will share a summary of the newsletter content.

Please make sure you are connected through Parent Square and have downloaded the APP as this is the easiest way to communicate with your student(s) teacher, the school, and Gwinnett County Public Schools. If you have questions, please let us know.

Be on the lookout for our PTO Fundraiser Event in September!

Finally, I plan to hold our first Local School Council Meeting on Thursday 9/5 at 12:30 pm via Zoom. I will send an invitation to parents who have previously expressed interest. If anyone else would like to be a part of the Local School Council or PTO, email me at jennifer.mercedes@gcpsk12.org.

Parents, if you haven't completed your beginning of the year forms and you need some assistance, please watch this video. We have about 250 students whose forms need to be completed. The Shiloh HS Athletic department hopes to provide opportunities for our Shiloh Cluster students to participate and learn about wrestling, track, cross country, and flag football. Each of these sports offers unique opportunities for students to grow, both physically and mentally, while building confidence, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. If interested, scan the QR code.

General Information

School Hours 7:45-2:45 - Instruction starts at 8:15

Car Rider drop off ends at 8:10

Students arriving after 8:10, parent must bring student into the building to check in.

Dismissal begins at 2:45. Car Riders dismiss at side of the building from 2:45-3:10 PM.

After 3:10, you must come to the front lobby to pick up your child.

Bookbags

Please make sure your children come to school each day with a book bag that has their

transportation tag, this guarantees a safe and secure travel home. If tag is missing, please

contact the school.
