Required Class of 2024 Senior Survey – ALL seniors, please complete the Class of 2024 Senior Survey, if you haven’t done so already. This is extremely important feedback for CHS and informs us of where to send your final transcript for college. We appreciate you doing this on your own, so we do not have to follow up with you! ~CHS Administration and Counseling Teams

Introducing CHS 2024 Valedictorian and Co-Salutatorians
Gabriel Langevin: Valedictorian
Gabriel Langevin was born in Montreal, Canada and moved to Coronado with his family when he was 6 years old. He has attended Coronado schools since 2nd grade and is grateful for the boundless opportunities his teachers, classmates, and community have provided for him. During his time at CHS, he joined both the Islanders beach and indoor volleyball teams, helping the former win a CIF D1 championship his junior year and the latter reach the CIF DIII finals his senior year. Gabe is also a 4-year member of the CHS Academic League, where he served as both president and captain of the varsity team. Gabe also spent 150+ hours volunteering with National Honor Society, Junior Optimists Club, and the Coronado Public Library, where he now works part-time. Gabe has received many Islander Academic Achievement Awards at CHS in multiple subject areas. Outside of school and work, Gabe enjoys chess, trivia, and Mario Kart. Next year, Gabe will attend the Rochester Institute of Technology where he will major in applied statistics.
Cate Gregory: Salutatorian
Cate Gregory was born in Virginia and moved to Coronado her freshman year. She is a member of the Coronado School of the Arts Conservatory of Classical and Contemporary Dance, performing in bi-annual concerts, as well as serving as a CoSA Council Representative and Tour Group member. Cate dedicates much of her time to volunteer efforts, including organizing beach cleanups and international volunteer efforts through the Interact Club. She especially enjoys interning with Emerald Keepers, where she has advocated for a single-use plastic ban for our city and a Zero Waste program for Coronado Unified School District. This experience and an internship at UCSD as a science writer, have led her to pursue a degree in Environmental Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. Cate is grateful for her time at CHS and the wonderful support she has felt from students, faculty, and especially teachers during her time here.
Andreana Frangos: Salutatorian
Andreana Frangos has lived in San Diego her whole life and moved to Coronado in the 5th grade. She has been a Girl Scout since kindergarten earning her Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. For her Girl Scout Gold Award, Andreana created Big Wigs Business, a free camp and online curriculum for young children to learn the ins and outs of starting their own business. Over the past three years, Andreana has worked at Subway Sandwiches, Coronado Island Marriott as a pool attendant, and Beach Village within the Hotel del as a front desk agent and concierge. These opportunities and experiences led her to pursue a degree in Hotel Administration at Cornell University’s Johnson College of Business. Outside of school and work, she rowed for four years and played varsity rugby. Andreana has loved her time at CHS and is truly grateful for the caring teachers that have supported her along the way.
