Breaking News: Graduates Automatically Admitted to SC4
SC4 has partnered with all seven St. Clair County School Districts to eliminate a step to enrolling at SC4 this Fall. Seniors are automatically admitted to SC4 without needing to complete a college application. Eliminating the application step for high school graduates streamlines the transition from high school to college including encouraging early access to scholarships, advising, and college services.
Beginning with the high school graduating class of 2024, student data will be entered into the SC4 data system to permit students to activate an SC4 account and immediately begin enrollment steps for the Fall 2024 college semester.

8th Grade Students visit SC4
Over the past two weeks, 8th graders from across the county visited St. Clair County Community College as part of its annual collaboration with RESA. The event aims to introduce middle schoolers to the many opportunities the college offers high school students. During the tour, students learned how to earn free college credit through dual enrollment, the Blue Water Middle College, and the Career and Technical Middle College. They also got a taste of campus life and had the opportunity to explore the college’s new state-of-the-art health science program featuring AI technology.
College Adviser Openings for 2024-25
St. Clair County still has 4 current opening for College Advisers for the 2024-25 school year. Advisers openings with Michigan State University College Advising Corps (MSUCAC) at Memphis & Capac and AdviseMI at Port Huron High & St. Clair High Schools. Both MSUCAC and AdviseMI are recruiting and pre screening candidates but referrals are often the most effective way to hire these positions, especially from local alumni returning to the area.
