RES Weekly Buzz

For each petal on the shamrock, this brings a wish your way: Good health, good luck, and happiness for today and every day."
RES celebrated St. Patrick's Day in many different ways today! Some built leprechaun houses/traps with their peers, with high hopes of catching one! Others designed hats for their leprechaun, Lucy, who visited the class on Thursday night leaving gold coins and special shamrocks for all the students. Many of our staff and students wore different shades of green and brought in their Irish good cheer. Overall, it was a fun day at RES!

Notes from Nurse Wagner
🌺Spring is right around the corner which means birds singing, flowers blooming... and seasonal allergies. If your child has symptoms of seasonal allergies (sneezing, runny nose, congestion, itchy eyes, etc.), please make sure to give them an over-the-counter treatment (as advised by your pediatrician) before sending them to school. This is important as students are usually outside more often in the Spring.
PLEASE remember to send a water bottle with your child to school every single day!
For parents of younger students, please take time to review the proper steps to toileting and hand hygiene with your child.
If your child has any symptoms of COVID or a known exposure to someone with COVID, please do a rapid COVID test at home. Free COVID test kits are available from the Town of Rockport.
For any questions or to report your child's illness, please call the RES health office at 978-546-1223 or email rwagner@rpk12.org .
