🕣 Time Is Now! Help Argyle ISD Take Legislative Action!
We're on the CLOCK 🕣 with the SENATE! Take Action Argyle - We Need You!
Last week, the Texas House passed House Bill 2, which proposes critical updates to the state’s school funding formula-including a meaningful increase to the basic allotment, a key investment in our students, teachers, and schools.
Now, HB 2 is in the hands of the Texas Senate, and time is of the essence - 5 days left. The Senate is expected to hear this bill, along with its version, next Tuesday, May 13.
Contact Senators Parker, Creighton, and Huffman today and urge them to:
✅ Pass a school finance bill that provides the $7.7 billion proposed by the House.
✅ Ensure the legislation includes discretionary funding through the basic allotment ($6,555), which includes an automatic teacher pay increase and additional special education funding.
✅ Share the financial constraints and underfunded mandates Argyle ISD is currently facing and the positive impact HB 2 funding, as passed by the House, would provide to our students, teachers, campuses, and community. Underfunded mandates include special education funding and safety & security funding.

Argyle ISD District Leadership for 2025-2026!

This process has reaffirmed our district’s strong culture of shared leadership and collective responsibility, all grounded in our enduring traditions and core values.
We are excited to share the outcome of this work and proudly announce the 2025-2026 Campus Leadership Teams, along with our new District Special Programs leadership team.
