This is an exciting time for Pine Ridge School. We are now in our last 1/2 stretch of the 24-25 school year. This newsletter is to provide you with some current news, a few updates, and upcoming dates that you will want to make note of.

Did you know that our students take a monthly "survey" so that we can be aware of socio-emotional needs. This survey is called Kelvin, and it comes up on their Chromebooks once a month. I'd like to share the following comparison data which shows how we are progressing in our support of students and in providing a safe environment conducive to learning. In addition, you will note that we have some work to do about supporting students who exhibit anger and how to support regulation of this emotion.

1/31/25= Kids for Peace and Kindness Day (Spirit Day)

2/11/25= Kinder Round Up

2/13/25= Valentine's Freeze Dance (8:30 am)

2/13/25 = Minimum Day (school is out for students at 11:30). Please mark calendars

2/14/25= Lincoln's birthday. No School.

2/17/25= Washington's birthday. No School.

This event is geared toward new families and those with incoming students. We will have resources, supports for registration, vaccination information, and much much more.

Health and Wellness Resource Center will soon be open for any PUSD student/family in need of services including mental health services, dental, resume building, parenting supports, etc. The Resource Center is located on our campus by the PRS library.
