Dear Renwick School District Families,
It's hard to believe the first day of school is just a month away! As we kick off enrollment for the upcoming school year today, we're excited to announce our transition to a new student information system called Skyward. This system will allow you to become more involved with your child's schoolwork, view assignments, and connect with teachers about classroom activities.
The updated student information system offers numerous benefits for both parents and the district. For parents, it provides a more streamlined and user-friendly way to monitor their child's academic progress, ensuring you stay informed and engaged. For the district, Skyward enhances our ability to efficiently manage student information, leading to better communication and more effective support for your child's educational needs.
As you complete the enrollment process, we encourage families who may benefit from the service to fill out the free and reduced lunch application. This application is available to provide additional support for those who need it, and all application materials are kept strictly confidential.
As a reminder, at the June Board Meeting, the Board of Education made the difficult decision to cut transportation for students living under 1.5 miles from school. We want to keep lines of communication open as many of us are in summer mode and may not be thinking about school just yet. As we move to this new student information platform and enrollment opens this week, please be sure to complete the transportation portion of the process so we can best plan to meet the transportation needs of our families.
