Using your DOE Email gives teachers a free PRO account with many added features. Students can also access Canva through Teachhub --> Clever.

Audiobook Listening Copy Program

Get access to the ALCs by creating your free Libro.fm account and completing the form below. If your application is accepted, we’ll let you know!

New ALCs can be redeemed each month. Once redeemed, they can be downloaded and listened to at any time.

You’ll receive an email letting you know when new ALCs are available, and a reminder to redeem them before they are gone at the end of the month.

Affinity Designer 2

If you like to dabble in graphic design or have students who like to draw, then the Affinity Designer suite is a great alternative to Adobe Products. And it's now free for schools. As of March, the DOE will not longer pay for the Adobe Suite (with the exception of Adobe Express), so this is a great alternative to dabble in graphic design for free.

The Puzzle Corner

The Grady Parent's Association recently donated puzzles and a puzzle board to the library. This gift allows students to work together to solve puzzles during free time. The puzzles are fun and colorful, and they challenge our brains in a good way. Everyone is excited to try out the new puzzles and spend time with friends while figuring out how the pieces fit together.

Assembling puzzles has many benefits. It helps us develop important skills like problem-solving and critical thinking. When we work on a puzzle, we learn to be patient and persistent. Puzzles also improve our memory and hand-eye coordination. Plus, working on puzzles can be very relaxing and a nice break from regular schoolwork. We are so thankful to the Parent's Association for their thoughtful donation!

February is the shortest month of the year. We have a week off of school and yet we are packed with events to celebrate and highlight!

Black History Month

Learning Black History does not have to be relegated to 1 month a year. But February is a time to reflect on the rich cultural heritage, struggles, and triumphs of the Black community.
