Reminder - NWEA Testing Will Be October 21st through October 24th!!
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR STUDENTS ARE PRESENT AND ON TIME NEXT WEEK!!
The NWEA testing is a valuable opportunity for students to demonstrate what they have learned. To help your child feel ready for success, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Testing Dates: Testing will begin on October 21st. Please make sure your child is present and arrives on time each day.
- Rest and Nutrition: A good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast are key to staying focused. Please encourage your child to rest well the night before and eat a nutritious breakfast each morning.
- Positive Mindset: Testing can sometimes feel overwhelming, but we want students to approach it with confidence. Encourage your child to do their best and remember that this is just one way we measure learning.
- Support at Home: Practice some relaxation techniques with your child if they feel anxious, like deep breathing or positive affirmations. Remind them that their effort is what matters most.
We are proud of the hard work our students have put in this year, and we are confident they will do their very best.

Fairmount is on the Lookout for Healthy Snacks!!
We are asking our amazing Fairmount families to help stock our Care Closet with healthy snacks! The Care Closet provides support for various student needs. One big area of support is snacks! Nutritious snacks make a big difference in helping students stay focused and energized throughout the day. If you're able to donate, we're looking for non-perishable, individually wrapped snacks like yogurt covered raisins, popcorn, granola bars, goldfish crackers, and a fan favorite Cheez-Its.
Donations can be dropped off at the school office anytime during regular hours. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and helps us take care of our Fairmount students!
Fairmount Compact
At our PTO meeting last week, Shelly Morin and Rachael Rowland participated to explain how students receive additional assistance. If you have any questions, please email either Mrs. Morin and Mrs. Rowland.
