Parent drop off and pick up: If you drop your student off or pick them up, please drive to the front of the building at the horse shoe. The back parking lot is for faculty and student parking. PLEASE do not drop off or pick up across the street at one of the businesses.
Meet the Teacher for Ben Barber: Thursday, September 12th from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Student ID Cards: Students are required to have their Legacy ID on before entering the building. For students that do not have their ID with them, a new one will be made at the Reception area at the front of the school. If the students is entering through the back, they will have to walk around to the front to enter where we have an ID machine set up. The replacement fee is $5.00 per ID ($6.00 if you need a lanyard too).
Parking Stickers: Students can complete the paper application and pick up their parking permit at the MISD Police Office at 1522 N Walnut Creek Dr. (behind Wester MS). The student must have their driver's license, proof of current insurance, and $30 cash or check.
Fines and Fees: Please check your fines and fees in Skyward. Homecoming will be here soon, and all fines and fees must be cleared to buy a ticket to the Homecoming Dance. If you need to set up a payment plan, please contact the bookkeeper.
Chromebooks: If your student needs a Chromebook for this school year, the parent or student needs to enter a ticket to request a Chromebook. Go to www.mansfieldisd.org/departments/technology/
then select Enter a Student Help Ticket and Choose Request Student District Issued Device
When a request for a chrome book is entered it will auto assign to the Technology Invoice Clerk. This will start the process. Students new to MISD might need to wait about 48 hours after enrolling to show up in the system.Attendance Office: If you need to send a doctor's note or let us know why your student is absent, you may email the attendance clerks at ChrystalMiller@misdmail.org and JanetManning@misdmail.org The new MISD exemption guidelines will allow doctor's notes to not count toward the absence limit for exemptions purposes, but the document must be turned in WITHIN THREE DAYS OF RETURNING TO CAMPUS. These absence reasons will not be changed in December to allow students exemptions.

MISD Parents, Fans, and Community,
Mansfield ISD is excited about the 2024-2025 athletic season that is upon us. We ask for your support at our athletic events as we model good sportsmanship and positive behavior while cheering for our teams. In that spirit, MISD is proud to support The Texas Way!, the new sportsmanship initiative set forth by the UIL, THSCA, and THSADA.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwY5RWXFmbA
MISD strives to provide a positive game experience that will be enjoyable, safe, and rewarding for athletes, students, parents, and fans who participate in or attend these events.
MISD Fan Expectations:
Spectators are encouraged to cheer on and express support for our athletes and teams.
Fans should not yell or scream at athletes, coaches, or officials.
Spectators who fail to demonstrate appropriate sportsmanship and conduct will be warned.
Repeated failure to adhere to these expectations may result in ejection from an event or prohibition from attending future MISD sporting events.
Parents or fans are not permitted on the sideline, track, gym floor, etc. during an athletic event.
Fans should not approach the scorer’s table or engage with referees or officials before, during, or after events.
Visitors to athletic events must demonstrate appropriate behavior at all times.
MISD strives to lead by example, promote the ideals of good sportsmanship, and model positive adult behavior for our students. As a Texas Way district, we can all improve the level of sportsmanship at UIL sporting events, decrease the number of ejections, and strengthen the relationship between coaches, athletes, officials, and fans -- all while creating a safe game day environment. We appreciate your support and look forward to a great year.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

MISD Parent Hub for Social Emotional Learning
Social and Emotional Learning in MISD is Relational Practices. Relational Practices assist in the ability to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. Along with our mission to support students, empower teachers, and collaborate with administrators, we want to partner with parents to meet the needs of your children at home. The purpose of this site is to provide resources and support as you navigate through the journey of raising kids in the 2020s. Click here to access the MISD Parent Hub for Social Emotional Learning.
As part of Vision 2030, MISD is helping students become life, college and career ready through our student scorecards. Ask your student to log into Edugence and see what they have been working on!
