There is supposed to be rain Monday and Tuesday. If so, in order to keep up with our timeline schedule, we must get those 3 hours of rehearsal in this week. Below is the adjusted schedule for the week if Monday is rained out.

• Monday 5PM-8PM (If no rain...if there is rain, rehearsal is moved to Friday after school)
• Wednesday - NO REHEARSAL DUE TO SAT FOR SENIORS
• Thursday 7AM-8:20AM
  
• Friday 7AM-8:20AM
• Friday 5PM-8PM (Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and water for everyone at 4:30PM)

We will start the process for uniform fitting starting NEXT week (September 28).

We will start with upperclassmen trying on their uniform from last year, then move on to new members. To do this using best practices and safety precautions, it will take two weeks to accomplish all fittings. In order to fit online students, we will have 2 Saturday fittings.

We will need 2 parent volunteers to help fit students with uniforms starting the week of September 28. Please sign up on the Band App.

• Monday-Friday, September 28-October 2 - UPPERCLASSMEN FITTING during class
• Saturday, October 3, 10AM-4PM - ONLINE UPPERCLASSMEN FITTING. Students will sign up for fitting times.
• Monday-Friday, October 5-9 - NEW MEMBER FITTING during class
• Saturday, October 10, 10AM-4PM - ONLINE NEW MEMBER FITTING. Students will sign up for fitting times.

Students will be using the Music First App for recorded assignments and the All-Region Audition Process. YOUR ASSIGNMENT IS TO DOWNLOAD THE APP TO USE IN CLASS ON MONDAY.

• Download the Music First App from the App Store for your phone or tablet.
  
• Wylie ISD has purchased subscriptions for all music students.
• We will go through the set up process in class on Monday.
  

Here are two additional resources to help you prepare for your All-Region/ All-State audition.

• Audition Master - Large set of lessons that will go in depth through every aspect of the audition materials for each and every instrument presented by top performers and educators that will inspire you and take your playing to the next level.
• Crescendos - One on one free and customizable mentorship sessions with college music majors from the Peabody Conservatory, Princeton, UNT, and more!

Here is information shared by the Athletic Department regarding ticketing at home football games.

• There will be no general ticket purchasing.
• Each participant (football, band, drill team, cheer, ROTC) will be allotted two tickets (via GoFan, using their child’s Student ID# as an access code). In order to accommodate each participant, and with the limited number of seats available, two tickets per participant is the best we can do.
• We do plan to “release” any unsold tickets at 8:00 AM on game days (2 per transaction), so participant parents may be able to purchase additional tickets that way.
  

We will send the GoFan info as soon as we get it. Remember, we do not have our first home games until October 9 (East) and October 15 (High).
