Dear NSD Families:
We greatly appreciate your continued patience and cooperation as we work to provide a smooth and reliable transportation experience for all students.
We are pleased to share that the new Special Education bus routes were implemented on 9/26/24, and the new Regular Education bus routes will be implemented on 10/2/24.
Families can view these changes in their X2/Aspen Parent Portal by 10/1/24. If you have difficulty accessing the Parent Portal, please contact your child's school.
We recognize how essential reliable transportation is for your family, and we remain committed to resolving any remaining issues as quickly as possible.
If you are still experiencing transportation issues, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Transportation Help Desk for assistance. This method will expedite our response time by allowing multiple district representatives to address concerns.

Digital Learning Highlight: Bridging Schools through Technology
In a creative fusion of technology and community spirit, 4th and 5th graders at Charlotte Avenue. Elementary recently embarked on a unique digital project. Using design tools Canva and Google Drawings, students crafted vibrant birthday cards to commemorate Mt. Pleasant Elementary school's centennial celebration.
This innovative activity, led by Technology Instructional Assistant Cindy DiFillipo, showcased how digital skills can foster connections between schools in our district. Students honed their design abilities while engaging in a meaningful gesture of community support.
Key aspects of this project include:
Hands-on experience with real-world design software
Cross-school collaboration celebrating local history
Integration of technology into creative expression
This project exemplifies how our schools are leveraging digital tools to enhance learning experiences and build stronger community ties!
