I grew up in Chelsea playing on the beach and spent weekends on my dad’s bright orange and very smelly fishing boat in Flinders. As a young girl I spent hours in rock pools investigating and eating marine life. I then discovered what it was to be underwater, and oftentimes wished I could forsake my lungs for gills.
It was later I discovered surfing, and spent two years road tripping with my dog, longboard and scuba gear. I was part of The Allgirls Surfriders at Lennox Head, and spent a year living in an old shed behind Suffolk Beach. Now, on a quiet day I will go have a paddle out at Pines.
I also discovered my dads Pentax when I was a kid, and realised it could capture the beauty of everything I saw, especially the water, and so it became just as important to me as the water itself.
I have since taken a camera almost everywhere, and capture the serenity, the solitude, the comfort, the breath, water gives to those who connect with it.
I have spend the last few months trying different print mediums, finding the right glass, doing multiple test prints, finding the right timber, the right stain, to make these waterscapes a piece you would be proud to hang on your wall, an image of you, captured and framed of you doing the thing you love.

A customized portrait of you and the water, shot, retouched and printed on to 5mm polished glass, surrounded by clear stained Tasmanian Oak.
