Who discovered asthma?
Hippocrates, a Greek physician during 460- 357 BC discovered asthma. He is known as the father of medicine.
What are signs and symptoms of asthma?
Early signs of asthma is itchy chin, mood change, thirst, and fever etc
Early symptoms of asthma feeling tired, shortness of breath, and upset easily
How common is asthma?
In the UK, around 5.4 million people are currently receiving treatment. That is the same as 1 in every 12 adults and 1 in every 11 children
Does more boy or girls have asthma?
Studies show that you cant tell which gender gets it more but it tells us that boys are more likely outgrow it.
What type of treatments are there?
Asthma can usually be manged by a rescue inhaler. Sometimes it can be treated by steroids
