- Travelers must obtain a test within three days of departure, prior to arrival in New York.
- The traveler must, upon arrival in New York, quarantine for three days.
- On day 4 of their quarantine, the traveler must obtain another COVID test. If both tests comes back negative, the traveler may exit quarantine early upon receipt of the second negative diagnostic test.
- For travelers who were out-of-state for less than 24 hours:

Spiritual Life - Little Bites from Heaven
What are Little Bites from Heaven? The Spiritual Life Committee knows how important faith is to our families at DeSales. However, we also know families lead busy lives and finding time to sit down to foster that faith, read the Bible together and answer the questions our children have about God sometimes takes a back seat to other things. That’s why we think Little Bites from Heaven is a great tool to do just this. Dinnertime allows an opportunity to connect over food while having fun, joyful and meaningful faith-building conversations with your children. Little Bites from Heaven provides devotional time for all family members that includes scripture, questions to discuss and a short devotional. It’s as simple as read the scripture and devotion and discuss the questions together. We believe Little Bites from Heaven will help to prioritize what is most important and at the same time, foster and grow a deeper understanding of your family’s faith rooted in Jesus Christ.
Devotional: WISHFUL THINKING?
Lots of people make wishes – when they blow out their birthday candles or when they cross their fingers or when they look at shooting stars. They say,” I hope it will happen” or “I hope I will get it”. They are wishing for something but have no confidence that it will happen.
But we don’t have to cross our fingers and hope as hard as we can that God will give us everything he has promised to give us or to do everything he has promise us he will do. We can be completely confident, totally sure, solidly convinced that God is at work in the everyday aspects of our lives. What promises? All his promises, including these: God works everything together for the good for those who love him (Romans 8:28) ; he will follow us with goodness and mercy all our days (Psalm 23:6) ; he will not leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).
You don’t have to wish and wait, wondering if God will do what he has said he’ll do with his Word. You may not have experienced the fulfillment of some promises yet, but if he has promised something, there is no question it will happen. We can entrust our lives to the One who holds the future, no matter what happens. Because God will do what he has promised to do.
Scripture:
You can have a Bible close to the dinner table to use during devotions. The kids can take turns reading the scripture each week out of the Bible!
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” HEBREWS 11:1
Discussion Questions (pick a couple or all questions and allow for everyone to to answer. There’s no answer key! As parents, we sometimes think we have to have all the answers, but we don’t. It’s ok to sometimes not have all the answers! But God does and it’s good to let our kids know when tough questions arise that some things only God knows, and we can’t always understand, but we can always trust Him )
1. What promises have been made to you? What promises have you made to other people?
2. What promises of God do you find it easy to put your faith in? What promises are harder for you to be confident in?
3. How do we know God is trustworthy – that he will follow through on all the promises he has made?
Little Bites from Heaven are excerpts taken from Dinner Table Devotions written by Nancy Guthrie
