Have You Purchased Your School Supplies Yet?

It's that time of year again! Ross families are asked to contribute $100/student to cover the cost of school supplies for the coming year. You can place your order here!


The PTA provides collected funds to Ross teachers to purchase what they need for their students and classrooms. This saves parents a trip to the store and ensures equity among students.


Please try to order your children's school supply packages by August 19th! In your order, you can also donate additional funds to help support families who aren't able to cover the full amount.

Local After-school Childcare Options for 2022-23

There are several neighborhood options for after-school childcare, including the Jewish Community Center and Keegan Theatre (both of which pick up students at Ross).


Registration is now open for Keegan programs, and registration for the JCC opens on Mon. Aug 15th at 10am (registration link).

Safeway Fundraiser

The Ross PTA is partnering with Safeway Foundation and the Safeway store at 17th and Corcoran to raise funds to support our school.


During the month of August, show your school spirit by making a monetary donation at this Safeway location. All funds raised by this store will be donated to Ross School PTA.

Free Nationals Tickets!

The Ross PTA has been awarded 20 tickets to the Nats baseball game on Fri. 8/26 at 7pm, against the Cincinnati Reds! Tickets will be given out to Ross families on a first-come basis.


Please email PTApresident@rosselementary.org if you would like to be considered for tickets.

Get Your DC United Tickets!

Because it was such a hit last spring, the Ross PTA has again reserved a block of discounted tickets ($27 ea) for the DC United game vs. Inter Miami CF on Sun. Sept 18 at 5PM. Ross students will be able to join in a group photo on the field after the game!


If your family would like to attend, but is unable to cover the cost, please let Principal Searl know. The PTA has set aside funds to help make it possible for more families to join.

Used HDTV Screens for Sale

The PTA is selling several large (55-60") LED HDTV screens that were purchased in 2018-19 for use in Ross classrooms. They will be upgraded to smart boards, and we are offering the used screens for sale. If you're interested, please contact our PTA Treasurer, Brian Knudsen at rossfundraising@gmail.com.
