Please note that beginning in the 2025-26 school year, Northwest Community Schools will transition from a trimester schedule to a semester schedule. This change is being made to enhance academic continuity and improve financial efficiency while maintaining the integrity of all of our programs.

The NWCS Talent Show is TONIGHT! The show starts at 6PM and donations will be taken at the door. All donations will go to Henry Ford Cancer Patients.

We have many fun acts performing including singing, dancing, and comedy. There will be a bake sale and concessions available for you and your family to enjoy!

In honor of National School Counseling Week, we would like to send a huge thank you to our incredible school counselors! We appreciate all that you do.

We have an upcoming Count Day on February 12th, 2025. Please be present in school!

The Megabots FRC Robotics Team put together a video highlighting the many ways they use their 3D printers from Bambu Labs. With Bambu Labs hosting a video contest inviting participants to showcase their reasons for 3D printing, the team took the opportunity to submit an entry. They earned an impressive spot in the top 10 out of 553 submissions.

Congratulations!

Young Poets is the Jackson District's Library annual poetry contest, open to students in grades K-12. All poems submitted will be judged by their panel (comprised primarily of current and retired English teachers/professors). The winning poems will be published in a booklet, which is added to the library collection, and they have an awards ceremony in May to honor their winners.

Michigan Reconnect is your ticket to a tuition-free college degree or certificate! The Reconnect program provides eligible students with a chance to work toward an associate degree or Pell-eligible skills certificate at in-district community colleges, tuition-free.
