From the Principal Desk—
HELLO! HELLO! HELLO! This week at Park, we’re celebrating Start with Hello Week. This national initiative, organized by the Sandy Hook Promise Organization, focuses on promoting kindness, connection, inclusion, empathy and a sense of belonging among students.
Throughout the week, Park students and staff participated in themed days, sporting favorite items, bright colors, fun hats and Hilltopper swag. I had a blast wearing my Taylor Swift t-shirt and friendship bracelets! The picture shows us sporting our FAVORITE things!
The week began with grade-level assemblies led by Mrs. Barnett and a Mix It Up Lunch in the cafeteria on Monday. For this activity, students received colored craft sticks that matched tablecloths at various tables. They used these to find their seats and engage in conversations with new classmates, guided by provided conversation starters. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect with peers they might not know well and quickly make new friends!
Students have embraced the chance to meet new people, make new friends, share their interests and take part in activities designed to foster new connections. Be sure to ask your child about their experiences during Start with Hello Week at Park! Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week and a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Makee

Grades are now visible in Infinite Campus. Please note that these grades reflect your child's most recent assessments and in-class work. They are an indication of progress made thus far.
These grades provide a snapshot of your child’s current performance and areas of growth. Please keep in mind that there is still ample time for students to improve and demonstrate their understanding as the quarter progresses.
If you have any questions or need further clarification about your child’s grades or their progress, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher. We are here to support you and your child in any way we can to ensure their success. Thank you for your continued partnership in your child’s education.
