Recognizing & Reporting Child Abuse
Act 126 & Act 31 Child Abuse Training 2024-2025
Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is a requirement in Pennsylvania for all school employees who have direct contact with children. In this Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance (PFSA) 3 hour training session, we will review the elements of child abuse, including the legal definitions and categories, and indicators of abuse. The training provides an overview of mandated reporting obligations, including how to make a report, protections for those who report, and liabilities for failing to report.
