Happy Friday! We had an amazing week here at BMS!

On Thursday, we celebrated our STAR Patriots, students nominated by their teachers for displaying our mantra: Be Ready, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. Additionally, our science and math departments hosted STEM Night. Thank you for those of you who were able to come out and participate in this event.

As we close this week, spring break is now upon us. Enjoy this time with your student. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, April 8th.

Last night's Cluster Art Show was a masterpiece in itself! 🖼️ Our talented students showcased their mini artworks, dazzling the community with creativity and skill. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our budding artists – let's keep fostering creativity and inspiration!

Thursday at lunch, we proudly honored our outstanding students at the STAR Patriot Awards ceremony. Milestones testing dates for the end of the year have been announced. Please ensure that your child is here and ready to test on the dates below. For more information about Georgia Milestones or any other test administered in GCPS, please refer to the Accountability and Assessment webpage.

• Have you applied for Free and/or Reduced Lunch, if applicable?
• Do you know when and where your child can go to get additional instructional support?
• Do you know where you can check out materials/resources to use at home with your student?

If you answered no to any of these questions, please make an Appointment with Pilar Silva, our Parent Instructional Coordinator, in the BMS Parent Center.
