SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Hold On -- There's One More Football Game! 🏈💗💜
The 5th Annual Highlands High School Powder Puff Junior vs. Senior Girls Football Game will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Golden Rams Stadium. Gates open at 5:30pm; game begins at 6:00pm. The event also features a bake sale. Admission is $3.00 at the gate. Proceeds benefit the Jr/Sr Prom. All are welcome -- come and support your favorite team!
Coat Distribution - Nov. 18 at Booker Center
FREE winter coats and accessories for kids collected from the Winter Ready Rams coat drive will be available at the Booker Center in Sheldon Park on Monday, Nov. 18 from 4:00-6:00pm. Please come and get what you need to keep warm this winter!
Holiday Card Design Contest 🎄
The Superintendent's 2024 Holiday Card Design Contest is now underway and open to all students in the district -- Pre-K through Grade 12! Deadline to submit entries is Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024 by 4:00pm. Click here for specific details about the contest.
Stuff-A-Bus Toy Drive - Dec. 7!
The Highlands High School National Honor Society is sponsoring a Stuff-A-Bus event on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 12:00-3:00pm. The school bus will be located near the Community Library and St. Joe's High School in Natrona Heights. Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy or giving a monetary donation to benefit the Toys for Tots children this holiday season.
Grades K-5 Parent Feedback Needed in Title I Survey
HES and HECC Families: Both our elementary school and early childhood center receive Title I funding. We are interested in hearing your feedback from last school year (2023-2024) on ways we can improve our MTSS (Multi Tiered System of Support) processes and academic program this year. Please take a few minutes to respond to the survey at the link below.
High School 2024 Yearbooks Are In!
Highlands High School 2024 Aries Yearbooks have arrived! Current students received them in school. Graduate yearbooks may be picked up in the High School office weekdays between the hours of 7:30am - 3:00pm. Questions may be directed to Mrs. Gettens at kgettens@goldenrams.com.

Celebrating Our Veterans
Thank You for Donating!
The 5th Annual Winter Ready Rams Coat Drive collected 190 coats and hoodies and a variety of gloves, hats and scarves for Highlands students! Parent organizer Christina Faltot is grateful for the support of so many who helped make it a success. "Every year, I am humbled by the spirit of this community, coming together to make sure our kids are warm," she said.

Memorial Park Dek Hockey Turkey Cup for Ages 4-15
The Memorial Park Ball Hockey Club is sponsoring a Turkey Cup Tournament on Nov. 30-Dec. 1. The deadline to register is Nov. 16. Registration is FREE; donations are welcome. It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids to showcase their skills, have fun, and make lasting memories with friends. REGISTER HERE.
Harrison Township Looking for Parade Participants
The Harrison Township Recreation Board is hosting their annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 1:00 PM. They invite all clubs, organizations, businesses, companies, and groups to participate! School Cancellation / Delay Info
With the winter weather season approaching, we want to remind our families of the district’s procedures for delaying or canceling the school day to ensure you can plan accordingly (see file below). In addition, this notice provides information about the district’s Flexible Instruction Days (Remote Learning Days) on inclement weather days. High School Info for SENIORS
Senior Pictures: Please submit one senior photo for the 2025 yearbook using the link below with access code yearbook (do not email photo). Pictures will be accepted until February 1, 2025. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Gettens at kgettens@goldenrams.com

Requirements: The photo should be of high quality and not blurry. The photo will be cropped from the waist up to show head and shoulders in the yearbook. Please face forward, no black and white photos, and wear appropriate school clothes.
Please Note: The Highlands High School Aries 2024 yearbooks will be distributed in mid-November.
