Mr. Young is described by parents as someone who always has assignments ready for his students, helpful, and answers immediately anytime they have questions. One parent said he helped their struggling student and brought out the brightness in their child. He creates a welcoming and comfortable environment for students. Co workers described Mr. Young as being instrumental in being assertive and sharing their passion for education, student/family advocacy, establishing rapport and demanding respect from all. He is active in several campus initiatives, and always respectfully consistent. His realism is much appreciated, and the informal mental checks are monumental. He is assertive, passionate, comedic, and our Teacher of the Year!
