March 27 to April 2 - Spring Break

March 19 is National School Social Worker Day! Thank you to Ms. Gimson and Ms. Youngs for their dynamic work with children and families.

Mrs. Pennington had the pleasure of taking students to the University of Central Missouri for the Children's Literature Festival.

The C.I.S. Book Fair and Read Across America week is the week of March 11-15. The book fair will begin on Tuesday, March 12 with parent night on Thursday, March 14 in conjuction with Spring Title Family Night from 4:00-6:00p.m.

Please join PreK-5 for our Spring Title Family Night on March 14 from 4:00-6:00p.m. at C.I.S. You will not want to miss this reading focused Partnering in Education event!

It is hard to believe I am already giving you dates for our end of the year assessments. Please try to schedule appointments around these weeks. If you child will miss a day during these weeks please let us know as soon as possible so we can get them on a make-up schedule.

STAR Reading - Week of April 15

Missouri Assessment Program - 5th grade Science on April 23 and 24

Missouri Assessment Program - 3rd-5th grade ELA the week of April 29

Missouri Assessment Program - 3rd-5th grade Math the week of May 6

3rd quarter ends on March 8 and grade cards will be sent home on March 22.
