PFHS Attendance/Early Dismissal Policy SY 2024-2025
Early Dismissals:
ALL same-day Early Dismissals must be submitted by 2:00pm and at least thirty (30) minutes prior to pickup. Emails for early Dismissals are NOT accepted.
Please report early dismissals via ParentVue. Please request an early dismissal AT LEAST 30 minutes prior to the dismissal time.
If you are picking up your student without a ParentVue or previously submitted request, you must come into the building to the attendance window and present your ID and fill out a form for dismissal. You can request an early dismissal via Parent VUE or sending a note in with your student to be turned in first thing in the morning.
If your student is sick and needs to go home, the student must visit the Clinic to receive a dismissal pass from the school Nurse.
Early Dismissal requests through Parent Vue after 2:00pm will not be processed. Please come into the main office and fill out paperwork to have your student dismissed if you cannot put it in Parent Vue before 2:00pm. Early Dismissals are not accepted over the phone, only a handwritten note sent to school with your student or a request through Parent Vue .
Tardies:
If a student is going to be late to school due to an appointment at the doctors, orthodontist, dentist, court, or any other reason, please report tardies via Parent VUE. Please make sure to include a copy of medical/dental notes or any other documentation from appointments, etc. You can also send in a note with your student to excuse the tardy.
Absences:
If a student is going to be absent from school for the day, or longer, please notify the attendance office via Parent VUE, or using the form above.
*Please note: All student athletes must have a doctors note, dentist note, or other type of documentation if they are tardy to school or leave via early dismissal for them to participate in their sport the day of their tardy or early dismissal. If they are home sick for the day, they will not be allowed to participate.
