ERIN SCHOOL SEEKS FEEDBACK FROM FAMILIES
As part of our Continuous Improvement Plan, we are asking parents to participate in a survey that will be emailed to you next week.
Please watch your email for the survey link, as we value our partnership with you to make Erin a great place to learn and we appreciate your feedback!
GOLF AND ERIN SCHOOL
As a reminder we are starting and ending school a little earlier next year because the 2025 U.S. WOMEN’S OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP will be hosted next door at Erin Hills.
Because of this we are excited to grow our Golf IQ!
Here are a few Fun Facts to share:
1. This event is THE premier golf championship for Women. While Men's golf has many exciting tournaments to win, this is the largest championship and purse for Women’s Golf.
2. Just 3 years ago the purse was $5.5 million and this year it will be 12 million. This is a huge celebration for women's sports.
3. This year’s Women's Championship will be held from May 30-June 2 in Lancaster PA. It will be televised, Erin Hills will be highlighted and tickets will go on sale then.
We want to take advantage of this opportunity for our students and will be finding creative ways to work with the USGA to make this a learning experience!
ERIN STAFF UPDATES FOR NEXT YEAR🍀
As Mrs.Dittman and Mrs.May prepare for their retirement celebrations, they are also doing a wonderful job starting to transition with those who will be taking over their classrooms. We are excited to announce our new 5th grade teacher and our new middle school science teacher.
Ms. Posick will be moving from our special education department to 5th grade.
Mr. Liker, an experienced science teacher, is making the move to our middle school hallway.
Please read a little information below and let's give them a wonderful Erin Welcome!
MS. POSICK
My name is Lauren Posick, and I am very excited to be teaching 5th grade next year! I am currently a Special Education teacher and a math interventionist at Erin.
I grew up in Hartland and just recently moved to Sussex. I earned my bachelor's degree in Special Education and Elementary Education 1st-8th grade from UW Oshkosh.
In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, working out, watching sports, and golfing. I am looking forward to the school year and learning and growing with my students!
MR. LIKER
Hi Erin School! I’m Jeff Liker and have been teaching science for most of my career. After graduating college from Bradley University, I taught sixth grade in an intermediate school in Pekin, IL (just outside of Peoria).
In 2001, my wife and I decided to move back to my roots in the Milwaukee area to start our family. Since we moved, I have been teaching middle school science in the Wauwatosa School District. My wife, Dawn, is a second grade teacher in the Mequon-Thiensville School District. I have two daughters - Abby and Elizabeth. Abby is a senior with a political science major at the University of Iowa. Elizabeth is a graduating senior at Germantown High School. Next year, she plans to attend UW LaCrosse.
When I’m not with my family or teaching, I love to spend time outdoors (hiking, biking, running….) and traveling. Additionally, I am heavily involved with volleyball and am a club director of a local club. I’m thrilled to continue my teaching career at Erin School District and am looking forward to making it my new home. I am excited to meet you all!

We want to give you the opportunity to highlight something special that your child's teacher or any other staff member at our school has done for your child recently.
If you choose to participate, simply fill out the Google Form by sharing your feedback. Whether it's a teacher who went the extra mile to help your child grasp a difficult concept or a staff member who showed exceptional kindness, we want to hear about it.
Together, let's celebrate the remarkable work our Erin staff does in shaping the future of our students! Thank you!
