The 3rd grade classes get to perform a program this year! The program is titled “It’s Christmas Everywhere!” It will take place on December 10th at 5:30 pm in the EEI gym. Please have your student wear a red or green shirt and blue jeans for the performance.

Beginning this week in art activity class, 5th-grade students will start working on an extended art project using Model Magic Clay. If possible, please send 4 ozs. of this clay with your student this week. Our bulk order will not be arriving in time to start the project for all students. I was able to get a box from Amazon for delivery this week but that will still not be enough. I have attached the option for needed supplies below.

All schools in the Sheridan School District are working to become Heart Safe Schools through Arkansas Children's Hospital. To do this we have established a Project ADAM Safety Team who are trained to respond to a sudden cardiac event, conducted drills with our entire staff, and added more safety equipment such as additional AEDs to our campus. EEI will be adding Project ADAM drills to our required drills list alongside our fire, earthquake, lockdown, and tornado drills. During our Jacket Time, homeroom teachers introduced this drill to students on Monday (11/18). We will run a practice school-wide drill on Monday, December 2nd.

Student Council is selling $1 candy canes and will attach the tags on the paper to the candy grams bought. They will be sent to classrooms on Christmas party day, December 20th. Students will need to bring Mrs. Jones exact change in the morning to her room to purchase the candy grams. CANDY GRAMS WILL ONLY BE SOLD DECEMBER MONDAY 2ND-THURSDAY 5TH.

Students will shop during their Library Activity day during the week of Dec 9-13 just like we do for the Book Fair.

Interim scores from last week have started populating on the ATLAS Family Portal. Use your 6-digit code to see your student's progress.

1. If your child has a Health condition that requires accommodations (food, bathroom, activity) please provide a doctor's note with those accommodations so we can put those accommodations into place. Our goal is to keep students healthy and safe while at school.
2. All medications must be dropped off and picked up by an adult. Students are not able to carry any medication on their person while at school. Prescriptions must have the student's name and directions on the bottle/box. Consent forms need to be completed before mediation can be given..
3. Please keep your child home if they have a fever of 100 or higher, vomiting, diarrhea, or develop an unknown rash. Students must be symptom-free for 24 hours without medication
