Back-to-School at FRCS!
August 26, 2024
A Message from Our Executive Director
Dear FRCS Families,
With just about one week to go before we kick off a new school year, I want to extend a warm welcome back to each of you! As the excitement builds, our team has been working hard to prepare for another fantastic year of learning, growth, and discovery. We are eagerly anticipating the return of our students and the opportunity to partner with you in their educational journey.
As a reminder, the first day(s) of school for our district is:
- Kindergarten ONLY: Tuesday, September 3, 2024
- All students (K-12) report: Wednesday, September 4, 2024
The back-to-school season is always an exciting time for our students and their families, as it creates the opportunity for a new beginning full of possibility. Whether your child’s school experiences have been joyful or more challenging in the past, the new year brings the promise of re-engagement with meaningful learning and new relationships for everyone.
Similarly, this school year also brings the excitement of a new chapter for FRCS, as I begin my time as the leader of our district and we work together to continue and further develop the positive traditions and high standards of our schools and classrooms. As we begin this new chapter, please know that I am here to support you and your family throughout the year, as is our entire staff of teachers, leaders and support staff.
If you haven't received it yet, please be on the lookout in your mailbox for a letter from your child’s building principal. This letter contains the name of your child’s teacher or their homeroom number, as well as other important back-to-school information. Should you have questions about back to school, please reach out to the main office at your child’s school for assistance:
- Elementary School: 508-543-2508 Ext. 100
- Middle School: 508-543-2508 Ext. 200
- High School: 508-543-2508 Ext. 300
Be sure to check out the rest of this newsletter for details about upcoming events and happenings around the district as we gear up to start the school year.
All my best,
Toby N. Romer
Executive Director
