Amazon PunchOut will be turned off on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 11 p.m. for the Thanksgiving break. Approved orders will continue to be processed during the Thanksgiving break. Amazon PunchOut will be turned on for new orders Monday, December 2, 2024, when teachers return.

Looking for activities and reading to keep the whole family busy for a fun holiday break, or a cookbook to plan your feast? We've got you covered! Puzzles, games, DVDs...and, of course, books...for all ages and interests. Our delivery schedule and browsing hours will look different during this festive time of year, so make sure you place your online library orders with enough time to pick them up at the Library Van delivery location near you.

Learning Period Four Parent Agenda and Important Information

Our Community Arts team is ready to have lots of fun at the park. We are so excited to announce a NEW park location! Gettysburg Park in West Clovis is being ran by Mrs. Kimzey.

We are SO excited to build a new community! Don't forget your water bottle. We hope to see you at the park!

⚽️ Get Ready for Intramural Soccer Season! ⚽️

Attention students in grades 4-12! Lace up your cleats, because our much-anticipated Intramural Soccer Season is almost here! Sign-ups open in the ordering system on December 1st, and it's first-come, first-served. We only have 105 spots available, so secure your place as soon as registration opens! (Registration will close either once we hit 105 or by December 11th.)

Key Details:

Who: Co-ed, Grades 4-12 (Teams will be grouped by grade level)

Practice: Tuesdays, 2-4 PM Games: Fridays, 1:15-2:30 PM

Cost: $75 of your school funds used through the Ordering System as a service. (non-refundable) Materials needed: Soccer Cleats & shin guards (may not use school funds for cleats and shin guards)- the rest of the materials are supplied.

Season Dates: January 14 - February 21 (6 weeks)

Note: Practice on Wednesday, February 12th, instead of Tuesday due to the school schedule.

Hey Buzzing Bees! Hold onto your honey! It's that time again—registration for the 2024-2025 Spelling Bee is officially OPEN!

Monarch River Academy (MRA) December 5th

Students in grades 4th - 6th will spell from 9:00 am-9:45 am

MRA students in grades 7th - 8th will spell from 9:45 am-10:30 am

Yosemite Valley Charter (YVC) December 5th

Students in grades 4th - 6th will spell from 10:30 am- 11:15 am

Yosemite Valley Charter students 7th - 8th spell from 11:15 am-12:00 pm

Only the top two move on to the county bees and the dates are below.

*The annual Fresno County Spell Off will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Clovis Veterans Memorial District.

*Tulare County Spell off will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025. More details to follow.

Please check your calendars before signing up, to make sure your child can attend the County Bees in your area. Two students will move on from each age group and school. Please do not sign up for the school spelling bees if you cannot attend the county bee. The spelling bees cannot accommodate students outside of the listed grade levels.

With a focus on quality over quantity, there will be fewer school-sponsored trips, but parents can still take advantage of OS funds to explore educational destinations with their students. And with a Big List of ideas available, there are plenty of opportunities for learning and making new friends. Sounds like a fantastic way to make the most of the school year!
