Nichols Leadership Academy News #5
A Leader in Me School
Sunday Announcement!
Hello Navigators,
We had such an exciting Show Up and Shine event on Friday morning. We surprised students with staff, students, district personnel, Navi the Gator and Superintendent Dr. Vitale. We welcomed students to school with music, a red carpet and more. It was so much fun.
Parent/Teacher conferences begin this Friday, October 11th and continue through October 18th. Everyday during conferences dismissal is at 12:25 PM. You should receive information from your child's teacher about a conference.
Our PTO has several announcements.
See this flyer about out upcoming Boo Bash. PTO is collecting candy and it can be dropped off in the candy monster in the office. So far the class with the most donations is Mrs. Bosserman, followed my Ms. Massimini. All candy will be used for the Trunk Or Treat event during the Boo Bash.
Join us for a Dinner Night Out on Wednesday. See this flyer for more information. Part of the proceeds go directly to the Nichols PTO.
We are looking for some parents to join our ELAC site committee. This committee is made up of parents at our site who have students that are multilingual learners. You will be able to take part in creating a plan for our ELL students as well as giving feedback to our School Site Committee about the budget as well as our SPSA (School Plan for Student Achievement). At our school parent involvement is most successful when you have a partnership between home and school.
We hope you will consider being part of this very important school committee.
Thank you for your support.
