Sloatsburg Weekly Update

October 8th: Sloatsburg Fire Safety Visit

October 9th: School Store!! See below for more information.

October 9th: Sloatsburg / Montebello PTA meeting. This meeting will be held at 7 pm at Montebello Elementary School.

October 10th: PTA Sponsored author visit. Students will meet Maria Dismondy. Book order forms will be sent home next week.

October 14th: School closed in observance of Columbus Day

Childcare will be available on Wednesday evening for parents attending the PTA meeting at Montebello. Students will play in the gym and the meeting will take place in the cafeteria at 7 pm.

The school store will be open next week, on Wednesday, 10/9. Items will range in price from 25 cents to $5. If you are sending money in with your student please be sure to put it in an envelope or baggie with his/her name. Students will "shop" during lunch / recess time. If you have any additional questions please email the SES/MES PTA.

Please note: The date to make purchases has been extended to October 8th.

If you have any gently used Halloween costumes that you would like to donate, please send them in with your student. We will have a collection box outside of the main office. If you prefer to drop off in person there will be another collection bin in the vestibule.

We will be collecting until October 29th. More information to follow next month regarding our spooktacular Halloween Parade!!

If your child experiences an issue on the bus with another child and / or driver please refer to the contact list below. The team and I will investigate and request footage if necessary, so that we can properly handle each situation.
