A Message from Principal Driscoll
REMINDER: Last Day of School is Wednesday, June 12th!
Happy Friday Salem! It was a short week, but another good one as we turn the calendar to June.
We are excited for our elementary and middle school field days next week. If you plan to volunteer to help with events, please be sure to sign up through Bloomz with your child’s homeroom teacher.
Congrats to our Track and Field athletes who competed in States last weekend and the SEMSAC Championships yesterday afternoon. Many of our athletes left with medals! Big shout out to Brent, Jack and Sally for all of their hard work with the student athletes this season and another very successful season.
Big shout out to all my “Principals for the Day” over this past month! They looked sharp and kept the school running smooth!
Saturday looks to be the pick of the weekend. We hope everyone has an opportunity to get outside and enjoy it along with some rest and relaxation!

Last day of school; early dismissal

Student Dismissals
We continue to receive many calls and emails to the school making last minute changes to dismissal routines throughout the school day. The increasing amount of changes are confusing to students and staff and are disruptive to the classroom environment when we have to interrupt instruction to convey dismissal changes. We urge you to keep a set routine for dismissal so we can make sure your child gets home safely.
We have several events planned for the remainder of the school year where you may be at the school and want to take your child(ren) home early. Please do your best to plan ahead and write a note to the school to be handed in during homeroom. This is helpful for scheduled appointments and other reasons for dismissal as well.
We do understand that emergencies may arise, but unexpected dismissal changes during the school day should be a rare occasion. Any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly.
