Food Deliveries
Students who choose to DoorDash, GrubHub or have food deliveries to the high school may NOT retrieve their order until their scheduled lunch period on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday as to not disrupt their class environment.
Wednesdays we will not allow food deliveries to the building during the school day. Students coming from OSTC MUST PLAN ACCORDINGLY, especially on Homeroom days.
Please note, all students receive a free breakfast and lunch through food services. On Wednesdays breakfast is served and the snack bar and school store are both open.
LO-AM
Yes, our crew (in partnership with Orion Neighborhood Television) is live-streaming tonight's home varsity football game! You can watch online at www.dragonbroadcasting.org. There is a subscription fee of $11.99/month, or $79.99/year, and nearly half of that money comes directly back to our program.
No, we do not have a "premiere" date for our live newscast LO-AM yet. It's coming soon, but we're not sure yet on the date. The students are working towards generating story content, and we still have equipment/network connections to test. But we are getting closer. Stay tuned to our regular "This week's live schedule" message for more updates.
Have a good weekend.
NOTE: Watch out for scammers! Many fake links tend to pop up on social media on game days. The Dragon Broadcasting website will always have the REAL link throughout the season. "

Interested in the LOHS Parent Group
Looking for a way to give back to the LOHS Staff, consider being a part of the LOHS Parent Group. This group meets approx 4-6 times a year, and is NOT a big time commitment. If your are interested in volunteering, we would love to hear from you. Please take a moment to fill out this short survey via Forms.
At LOHS, we are committed to supporting our students beyond academics. To help them become successful and well-rounded individuals, we proactively focus on developing character traits that will serve them well in the future. Our school-wide commitment involves recognizing, dignifying, and rewarding students who demonstrate the qualities of Generosity, Responsibility, Integrity, and Tenacity (GRIT).
When staff members witness students exemplifying these admirable characteristics, they write a “ticket” describing the student’s positive actions. GRIT winners are awarded prizes, which greatly enhances this recognition program and creates excitement and enthusiasm among the student body.
We are currently seeking donations from local businesses and community members to support the GRIT program. If you or your business are interested in donating, please reach out to Danielle Bredemus. You may also drop off your donations inside the front doors. Donation letters are available for tax deductions.
Past donations have included gift cards to local establishments, candy, LO gear, fidgets, and more.
Thank you for your support in helping us recognize and reward our students’ positive actions.
